If you are considering an international or domestic adoption, please attend one of our information sessions. These sessions are free.
Topics covered in the International Sessions include eligibility requirements, the process of adopting from China, Guatemala, and Russia, immigration, waiting children, travel and costs.
Topics covered in the Domestic Sessions include openness in adoption, networking and advertising, contact with birthparents, placement and post-placement.

HAPS is pleased to also offer group meetings on discipline and adoption issues as part of our parenting preparation process. All are invited to attend and participate in these workshops. However, please note that for families adopting from China, attendance at one group meeting is mandatory in order to complete the homestudy process and comply with the requirement of China.
Seating is limited. Cost is $25 per person.
